So, I have to write about this because it touched my heart so much…

About a week ago a beautiful necklace (pictured above) was posted on my Facebook wall. It says balance… Eye of the Tiger gemstone symbolizes this. The lady that made it, Donna, posted under it “I have one left. I knew you would love this. Let me know if you are interested”

About 10 minutes later, I receive an email from a person that wishes to remain anonymous, and is such a kind soul they didn’t even want me to blog about it…but I had to.

The email asked, in so many words,” Have u purchased the necklace?” I replied that I hadn’t yet…and this was the next message—wait for it ….” Send the lady where you would like it shipped; consider it a 100% Random act of kindness is all… Please don’t post anything about it. Just keep writing in your blog and doing what u do. Think u touch more people than u know. Have a great day and weekend 🙂 ”

I have to admit at first I was skeptical, thought there were ulterior motives possibly but at the same time I was mind blown at the possibility of such a beautiful gesture.  I then said thank you so much, but I couldn’t accept …after thinking on it for a few I decided why not let someone do a random act of kindness and accept it? I don’t usually accept gifts; I am always the one giving them because I feel weird about people buying me things. I then got this email back “Thank you for accepting. Giving is only half. Accepting is a wonderful thing. It makes people feel just as good. You are wonderful” When I tell you that I had to sit and think on that, wow did I. I was in awe… in awe of such a wonderful soul, such a kind gesture, such words of wisdom that made me step out of my comfort zone, not to mention the necklace I received today and it’s SO awesome!  I didn’t hear from this person again, which proves it was indeed a complete random act of kindness…he didn’t do it to take me out, to ask for my number, to use it in any way at all.

These are the moments life is all about, random acts of kindness, spreading love, still witnessing beautiful people on this earth.  I will be forever thankful and never forget this… Thank you for making my day, for allowing me to feel comfortable accepting this gift and for that continuing belief that there are still humans that give, expecting nothing at all. This seriously sets my soul on fire with love, I will keep this trend of giving going and hopefully the person I give to will as well and so on… More giving and love is what we need in this world!

Thank you again, the necklace is so beautiful! In fact I’m wearing it now 🙂
